Use Planner for information the household must coordinate, Student for the work of completing school, Connect for conversations and chosen-circle sharing, Live for information shown on a screen, Budget for financial planning, and Care for sensitive support responsibilities. Keeping those destinations clear prevents a grocery item from becoming a message, a class assignment from crowding the family calendar, or a private care detail from appearing on a shared display.

Planner is the household source
Planner is the right starting point when several parts of home life meet. A calendar event can affect a meal plan, transportation, a reminder, and a household display. Chores, groceries, pantry items, notes, alarms, and smart-home controls also belong here because they describe shared operations rather than one specialized area.
Not everything should be copied into Planner. Use it for the summary another household member needs to act. The detailed work can remain in the focused app.
Student protects schoolwork from calendar clutter
A semester contains recurring classes, small assignments, long projects, exams, study blocks, and focus sessions. Student keeps that working detail together. When a deadline changes transportation or family plans, share the relevant event to the household calendar rather than publishing the student’s entire workload.
Connect is for people and conversation
Choose Connect when the audience matters as much as the information. Posts, photos, polls, events, and chronological circle conversations belong there. Direct messages remain a private communication surface and are not an advertising destination. A firm household action discovered in conversation—such as a date everyone accepted—can then become a Planner event.
Live is the presentation layer
Live does not replace the calendar, weather source, or task system. It turns selected information into cards, groups those cards into decks, and assigns them to screens with timing rules. This separation lets a kitchen display show useful summaries without exposing the private detail available inside an account.
Budget explains the plan without moving money
Use Budget for recurring bills, categories, transactions, imports, reports, savings goals, and planning scenarios. Pixora Budget organizes and explains information; it does not connect a bank password or initiate a financial transaction. Keep exact financial detail inside Budget and share only the household action that follows, such as a bill reminder.
Care uses tighter context and roles
Care is designed for permitted caregivers and care recipients coordinating check-ins, visits, plans, trusted contacts, reminders, and handoffs. A household calendar might show that a visit occurs, while Care retains the protected instructions and responsibility history. Medical emergencies and clinical decisions still belong with qualified professionals and local emergency services.
Move summaries, not entire records
The apps work best when information crosses boundaries intentionally. Share the date, owner, and action needed—not every underlying note. This reduces duplication, protects privacy, and gives each app a clear job. If two copies begin drifting apart, decide which app owns the record and replace the other copy with a link or concise summary.
