PIXORAHQ CONNECT

Social, without
the popularity contest.

Included with Pixora Free, Connect is a private-by-design place for real relationships, useful conversations, and communities you deliberately choose—organized chronologically, never by engagement.

PEOPLE AT THE CENTER

Choose the room.
Know who can see it.

Every post starts with writing, a clearly shown audience, and Post. Add photos, polls, events, tasks, Pop-ups, and advanced controls only when you need them.

01

Personal Circles

Keep Family, Close Friends, Friends, Acquaintances, or your own custom groups separate. A person can belong to the circles that fit your relationship.

YOUR CONNECTIONS · YOUR AUDIENCE
02

Shared Circles

Create a lasting space people join together. Add rules, roles, moderation, notifications, invitations, and optional discovery controlled by the Circle owner.

ONE GROUP · SHARED CONVERSATION
03

Private Messages

Send a chronological private post to one connection, including photos, video, events, tasks, polls, or an optional after-read timer.

ONE PERSON · NO PUBLIC THREAD
TODAY'S SHARED QUESTION

What did someone teach you without realizing it?

BTBTurcotteRIGHT NOW

A small moment that stayed with me.

Gone from The Commons in 72 hours.

THE COMMONS

A public postcard.
Not a public profile.

The Commons is an optional adult space for short, privacy-stripped postcards. Posts expire after 72 hours, there are no public reply threads, and usernames cannot change more than once every 30 days.

  • No links, prices, contact details, or precise locations
  • No anonymous posting, followers, or popularity ranking
  • One optional photo with metadata removed
  • Start a temporary “Let’s talk about this” Circle from the postcard

COLLEGE & COMMUNITY

Find your people.
Without being ranked.

Discover brings together the places you are eligible to enter and explains exactly why each one appears.

YOUR COLLEGE

College Circles

Add a separate .edu address without changing your Pixora sign-in. Create lasting groups for clubs, classes, interests, and campus communities. Reverify every 180 days, with a reminder during the final 30.

Alphabetical · verified email control · independent of the school
YOUR ALUMNI COMMUNITY

Stay connected later

If a school address cannot or will not be renewed, move into that school’s Alumni feed with lasting Alumni Circles and temporary Pop-ups. Reverify later to return to current student access.

Self-declared Alumni · optional private graduation details · credentials are not verified
HAPPENING NOW

Pop-up Circles

Join eligible school, Alumni, or Commons conversations while they are open. Ordinary messages and media are deleted when the Circle closes.

Closing soonest first · 50-person initial limit
OPEN COMMUNITIES

Shared interests

Find Shared Circles whose owners explicitly chose to appear. Member names and posts stay private until your request is accepted.

Newest first · owner approval · no member-count ranking

Optional interest choices create private search shortcuts. Discover never uses interests, reactions, replies, views, contacts, browsing history, or member counts to decide what appears.

POWER WITHOUT CLUTTER

Turn conversation
into something useful.

Home adds a chronological “Needs you” summary. Circle homes keep Conversation, About & members, and Controls together. Notifications show the likely next action, while safe changes offer Undo.

SAFETY BY DESIGN

Open signup.
Clear boundaries.

Adults 18 and older can create their own account. People under 18 use a parent-managed profile and cannot enter The Commons or school communities.

Controls where you need them

Report, Block, Mute, Leave, or Close appear directly in Circle use. Creators get moderation tools while Pixora retains emergency and policy controls.

Private means permissioned

Search and Assistant features can only use content the signed-in person may already see. Member names and posts are never exposed by discovery.

Real operator safeguards

Rate limits, stronger administrator sign-in, separated moderation evidence, appeals, and written incident procedures protect both members and the service.

INCLUDED WITH PIXORA FREE

Your people.
Not an algorithm’s audience.

Connect is included with Pixora Free and uses the same Pixora account and shared appearance you already use across Planner, Student, Live, Budget, and Care.
